Now, Bella must help her lover overcome the wounds of his tortured past, and find a future with her.

-------------------------
Quick Summary: While saving Bella, she saves Zsadist.

My Review:

My absolute favorite part of this story is the character progression. I really seem to enjoy when a broken and battered person can come back and be an even better person. This novel was slightly less captivating to my tastes than the last but I still found myself staying up late reading it. I think I finished this one at 2 in the morning. I guess its a good thing my hubby is working nights :) Outside of the main romance story that saves a man from his tortured past and a woman from a life she is not interested in, there is story progression with other characters. I have a large curiousity about John and how it will work out with him.

We see some big changes in this novel that I see affecting future novels very deeply. I still get bored easily with the lessors chapters and find myself skimming quite a bit through these parts. One thing I can tell you is you can read this book without reading the lessor chapters but you get more information if you do.

Future Novels:

The next story in this series is Lover Revealed. I have decided not to read the summary before starting the book which I won't be doing immediately as I have a ton of other things to read to and need to bounce around some :) Though I am sure I will be back at it in short order, I really love this series. I am really hoping Lover Revealed is going to be about Vishous, but based on the title I think Phury has a good chance of being the protagonist.

Until next time...

Review: Lover Eternal

Lover Eternal by: J.R. Ward

Title: Lover Eternal
Author: J.R. Ward
Series: The Black Dagger Brotherhood #2
E-book
Pgs. 446

Within the brotherhood Rhage is the vampire with the strongest appetites. He;s the best fighter, the quickest to act on his impulses, and the most voracious lover-for inside him burns a ferocious curse cast by the Scribe Virgin. Owned by this dark side, Rhage fears the time when his inner dragon is unleashed, making him a danger to everyone around him.
Mary Luce, a survivor of many hardships is unwittingly thrown into the vampire world and reliant on Rhage's protection. With a life-threatening curse of her own, Mary is not looking for love. She lost her faith in miracles years ago. But when Rhage's intense animal attraction turns into something more emotional he knows that he must make Mary his alone. And while their enemies close in, Mary fights desperately to gain life eternal with the one she loves.

---------------------------

Quick Summary: Rhage is lonely, Mary uses her illness as an excuse to be alone. When the two come together they may just be what saves the other.

My Review:

This has to be one of the best books ever!! I really liked the first Black Dagger Brotherhood novel but this one is much more enticing. I liked the fact that Mary did not just fall into bed with Rhage immediately as Beth did with Wrath. Loved Loved Loved the progression of the characters and the events they went though. Oh and that finale!! I could not put this book down, stayed up till two in the morning to finish it. I even squealed out loud at times. Immediately texted my sister when I completed the book and ordered her to read it!! I highly recommend anyone who likes a bit of paranormal with their romance to try this one on for size. I would also like to state that though reading them in order will give you more background on the characters, it IS NOT necessary. This book could have very easily been a single novel and not part of a series.

Future Novels:

There is plenty more and I can't wait to delve in. Well actually I already have Lover Awakened is up next!!

Happy Reading!!

Review: The Death Cure

The Death Cure by: James Dashner

Title: The Death Cure
Author: James Dashner
Series: Maze Runner #3
Audiobook

WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends-the Gladers. But it's finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.

What WICKED doesn't know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it's enough to prove that he can't believe a word of what they say

------------------------------------------

My Review:

I cant figure out how I feel about this novel. I even gave myself 24 hours to think about it. The ending was kinda predictable, or maybe its just what I wanted to happen. Once again I felt like there were more events then were necessary to tell the story. Many parts that fluffed the book. I may feel like this as I was so anxious to get to the truth and the resolution. I spent most of the book thinking it must be another trial and then believing that it wasn't. I liked this book more than the others though but I cant quite put my fingers on why.

All in all I enjoyed the book but this is one series that I am glad is at its completion. Onto new books!!

Side note:

There is a prequel called The Kill Order. I am not jumping straight into it as I have so much else I would rather read and this series has kinda bummed me out a bit. I may come back to it at a later date.

Happy Reading!!
